My passion for merchandising, fashion, and design started in school, I received my bachelor’s degree in interior design at New England Tech and graduated best of tech in interior design.

During my time as a design student I worked as a photographer as well as a design assistant for a Designer at Nanda Interiors. I started off simply organizing fabric books and cleaning the store, but very quickly I became her assistant and gained many responsibilities. Some of these responsibilities consisted of,  creating displays in the front window and throughout the store, and staging homes.  This was when I realized that visual merchandising was what I wanted to do with my degree.

After working as a sales associate for Alex and Ani in the Wayland Square, Rhode Island store I decided to make a big change in my life. In four weeks’ time I requested to be transferred to another store, I packed up my life, and drove to Florida. The first day I arrived at my new job at Alex and Ani Palm Beach I knew that this was where I was supposed to be. I walked into the store and quickly began to use my skills in design and photography to show my new team that I was ready to work and share my talent. I became the stores full time key holder with the leads of visual merchandising and Social Media. Palm Beach allowed me to do what I love, while at the same time continuing to learn on many different levels. I grew very much that year and I added the skills it takes to be a manager and leader.

After a year of being a store manager and Visual Lead I was given the opportunity to apply for the role of Alex and Ani's Visual Coordinator for the Southeast. This position has allowed me to grow within the world of merchandising, I have opened 8 new stores as well as over 30 Shop in Shop locations.

Working for Alex and Ani was an amazing experience but after 4 years of none stop travel I wanted to make a change. I then became a Curator for Restoration Hardware in West Palm Beach. This position was perfect for me, I was able to utilize my Interior Design degree as well as merchandising on a much larger scale. This position as taught me how to manage merchandising in a large scale building while also improving my leadership skills.

Although I loved my role at Restoration Hardware, I missed the world of fashion and wanted to find a place where I would be able to do all the things I love and enjoy. That was when I made the move to Saks Fifth Avenue as a visual stylist, and now Neiman Marcus.

My dream has always, and will always be to challenge myself and grow as an individual as well as in my field. I would love to stay within the world of fashion merchandising while also going back to being in a manager position. I want to be able to utilize not only my creative skills but also my strong leadership skills both of which I have grown in different roles over the years.
